We are at Menzies, WA, heading out to Lake Ballard to see the sculptures in the lake - will likely stay at the free camp out there tonight, to get pictures of the sunset etc. Have wanted to see these sculptures for a long time.
Love the flamingo but even more I love the shed. That's a place I could spend days tinkering.

At home in a Melbourne Bayside suburb, preparing to go to Mallacoota in East Gippsland for a week. We've rented a luxurious house overlooking the Lake, Gabo Island & Bass Strait. It sure beats dragging a box on wheels around!

Hanging and chilling at Cobram, Vic and waiting for the next fruit season to start. My van needs a better bed, flooring vinyl replaced and curtains doing, along with a bit of paint splashed around. I wonder if two weeks will be enough time. If not there is always the next work break when the peaches and pears finish. Love this travelling life even though I still have to find jobs as I go.

I will take you up on that offer one day. Unfortunately what I am doing today is the same as the last 10 weeks, that is waiting to have a stent removed 1st Feb placed in after the removal of a 9.9mm kidney stone. Then I can finish preparing my house for sale, set up a Dmax and a Dare I say it Jayco van and head off. I have family in Tuross and Milton I have promised to visit on my way around and would love to call in say hi and wander through your shed.
PS Hands in my pockets of course

Went out to Lake Ballard, near Menzies WA, yesterday - what an amazing collection of artwork - much like the one I posted above, but spread over an area that would take maybe an hour and a half to get around. It was very hot, so we only did about ten of them. The camp is very open, dry and dusty, may be ok in the cooler months, but we decided not to stay. Cleaning red dust (the road to the lake is 20k tar, 31k hard (corrugated) and dusty)- so todays chore is a clean up.

Stayed at the free camp at Head of Bight, SA, last night - great sunset, great place to camp. Moved on to Ceduna today, in a caravan park for a couple of days - washing etc. - need to catch up (think I only have one pair of nickers left!). Then on to the Eyre Peninsula!
