On behalf of other WA'ers, we are sorry for this idiots actions, the probably unnecessary death of a shark and the smell and disposal methods for his neighbours - no doubt taking it home to Mum and the kids to show what the big white hunter slaughtered !

I agree with you Bruce, What a Prat !!!
I see on the local T,V, news last night, that the driver will be done by the Cops for covering the Number plate on his 4 x 4
and the Fisheries Dept are looking into the type and size of the Shark, it could be a protected species.
I suppose by now it's been buried in someone's back yard, in todays temperature here in Perth, I'm glad he's not next door to me !!

Here in WA (not sure about the mexican states) you cannot keep ANY shark with an inter dorsal measurement over 700mm. This equates to a shark of roughly 1.8 - 2 mt in length .
The shark inthis video is clearly a tiger shark which are quite common in Perth waters and not protected as a species but as it is obviously over 2m (bout 3 mt would be my guess) it would fall into the do not take category for sure. Not sure how fisheries will track him down tho as he has very cleverly disguised his number plate
This guy is obviously a numbskull but as an issue , me I think there are much bigger fish to fry (sorry )
Cheers Al

Personally I'd like to see a Great White driving a 4x4 with a half chewed BOGAN strapped to the bull bar.
I agree DD !! How many other cases do we hear of with our wild animals left to very slowly die over days and weeks after being shot by a bow hunter or an idiot that cant aim with an underpowered rifle. These people do not slaughter for food or to protect their businesses (like farmers) - they and the shark pratt do it because they are thick and think its macho to show off in these ways

Dunno about everyone else but I cant say for sure , I don't t know all the facts .
Maybe the shark died in the fight and rather than leave it to rot on the beach they were going to dispose of it properly ?
Ive had Marlin that were destined for release die during the fight , rather than release a dead fish we would take it in and cut it up to give away .
I mean the guy could be a brain dead oxygen thief , or maybe not ?

Swoffer some forum members tend to shoot from the hip without knowing all the facts.
