In 2014 we had a few mishaps due to me and she not checking each other during departure. Left the handbrake on and the door unlocked on the caravan.
I have been busting my gut trying to find a checklist app for our iPad that lets you "tick" the item when done and then gives you a complete look at the finished checklist.
I used the App Store to search for checklist and came up with "paperless" try it and see. It cost $5. Pic is the front page of my checklist

With the latest changes to IOS, you can create a checklist using Notes and then tick off each item.
Once you have departed, you can uncheck all the items ready for the next departure.
You can now add photos and free form drawings to help remind you (or she) what a particular completed task looks like.

Good idea for sure we have a plan she does inside lock down and set up for the road including fridge change over to 12 volt , I do the out side check and set up for road trip always put awning away night before so we are not rolling in a wet awning . And hope you don't get a visitor to put you off your system .We all have a tick and flick when packing caravan at home for our trip .

Hey Phil,
as much as I liked towing I have to say switching to the motorhome reduces your apps list to maybe 6 items. Less work.... all for it!

Hi Phil, wiki camps has built in Check lists, you can add as many as you like , it doesn't have notes though, just thought this might help. Cheers Greg
To early for me to worry about .........but I was thing of creating an excel spreadsheet with lots of bells an whistles.... I use an ipad......
But if wiki has one ....the work is all done ......... Sounds like the way to go

Steve, Di and Ziggy, I was thinking of saying how easy it is with a motorhome but didn't have the guts! Our list is 12 items long but not all of them apply to all campsites

Don't worry Phil doesn't bite...... too hard. I could only find 6 things on Phil's list relevant to us with a motorhome, that's not saying I could find more points relevant to us.

I found an app called RV Checklists which contains a great deal of checklist info and options and is easily customised.......it cost $1.49 and is well worth it

People seem to rely too much on their electronic devices. They can not operate without a phone or pad in hand. If you require prompting in preparing your list then use the App recommended in the OP.

Actually the Wiki check list is totally customisable. What's there when you first open it can be edited or deleted. Using paper rather than an electronic device makes no difference to the manner the check might ultimately be conducted. That's entirely up to the person completing the task.

Why the need for an app when a simple printed check list is easier, quicker and less fooling around.
Why do we feel the need to complicate with technology when a pen and paper will often be the quickest and most effective way to get the job done.
