Hi Guys I have a battery choice problem. I have a 2000 Navara that used to have a second battery at the back. I tow a basic campertrailer (no battery) when on trips. I recently found out how vulnerable to theft the inside of my canopy was. All they did was twist the handles and it was open, cut the strap on my battery and my battery was gone. did not even damage the handles? My question is now I need to replace my battery I have a 40lt Engel on a slide by the side. of the battery which I usually keep in the house. My question is what battery do I put back in I have read up on batteries and thought a 120 h/a AGM battery was the best. but there are a lot of pro's and cons and you guys have these setups. later this year I plan a slow trip from Perth to Tasmania plan a 2 to 3 month lazy trip. Your thoughts on this will be appreciated.

So the agm deep cycle is the one to get. Quality difference between cheap ones to expensive ones is there a vast difference? Now I just need re-fix the battery in place so it's locked in, and do the same for my Engel if that's possible A friend of mine never takes his fridge out and neither his battery or fridge are locked in, lucky guy. Thanks for the confirmation on type guys

No that's for a good brand with 2 years warranty.. The old batteries, same brand lasted 10 years.. I hope to get the same..
Should be better with more solar ? Less battery usage or drain..
