Hi Just purchased an Optitec caravan mover for new van, thought I would be able to pick up 12v from the caravans Anderson plug to drive it, however there is no power at this plug, probably through an isolater, does anyone know if you can short these temporally, or have any suggestions.

The Anderson plug on caravan is on the wrong side of the circuit - you would need to plug into Anderson on car. i.e. the car powers the van.

Is the Anderson Plug on your Van actually connected to the Battery. Usually they are connected only to the Fridge. I use an Anderson plug on my van to power the Caravan Mover direct from the Battery.
