I purchased a telescopic builders pole from Bunnings and have been able to raise the roof unassisted, for the first time.
Now I just need to work on how to get it down. I'm armed with parrot type clips and a length of rope.

Hi Jamjar;
That sounds like a plan for me!! I have a swb VW transporter, which the poptop had to be cut down from a lwb as could not get one to fit the swb in Tasmania or Melbourne. Not sure if that was reason or not but I am struggling to push it up. Not bad on way down, I use my body weight and hang on.
I am about to get solar panels and TV antenna put up there too soon.
Would that telescopic pole be suitable do you think for me? How long are there to stow?
thanks
