It could depend on your face shape best to visit a Cpap store and get some advice to what suit your face

G'day Cowboy . I am on 10 .
I had Heaps of trouble with a face mask .
Now I use "nasal inserts" They Are terrific although , I do have minor problems.
Usually , when the hose gets in a wrong position , I just give the inserts a "quick lift" to
"reseal" themselves , lay the hose back over the pillow & go back to sleep.
Hope you work something out.

It's very hard to give advice , have you tried any other masks , that mask just might not suit you . I use a Swift nasal pillows .
A pressure of 16 is pretty high , is that your prescribed pressure , l know the bloody masks are expensive that makes it hard to try many .

My wife has a resmed quarto and had same problem. Turns out she was having it too tight. The internal curved bit in mask is supposed to collect air and force onto the face rather than be a compression area.
hope that helps

The pressure I have is 13. I actually saw the sleep Doctor yesterday and he was concerned about the full face mask I use coz I have a beard. He says it can't seal properly unless on skin. I've no intention of shaving off my beard which I've had for 43 years !! Today I'm gonna start looking for a nasal mask, which he recommended. I certainly wont be paying an arm and a leg at the machine's Agent. I believe lots of items for sale on e-bay, so I'll start there...

I am on a CPAP pressure of 13.5. I use nasal pillows with gel straps. I get my CPAP gear from the cpap.com in the US. Mine is a Philips machine and they won't post international so I have an address in the US I get stuff sent to and then forwarded on to me. I am about to place an order soon as I wand some spares and their 12 DC supply. My machine has 3 terminals so not easy to make one myself. Already tried that and wrecked the humidifier circuit!!!
For me its the ResMed - Swift FX. Its as close as u can get to that 'no mask' feeling. At least from what i've found so far.
I went to the Resmed agent last week. The nasal mask is $299.00. What a rip off. I told the guy that and he agreed !!! I'll stick with my full face mask..
