It'll be interesting whether they show the ''big marraccas'' on the Bull Statue in the main street of Birchip VIC. They probably won't. We were taking photos of each other standing next to it one day, every local that drove past had a big grin on their face.

She stated this morning that she want to portray the positives and show city slickers the real Oz, rather than continue the negative all the time.
That said the real situation will be portrayed accurately if I recall the conversation.

A good no Bulldust down to Earth show with real people.
I had 1 Oyster stuck on my tongue back in 1947 when I was 7 and told to swallow. I haven't been within a mile of one since, and don't plan to YUK.

I find it pretty sad that most if not all of our latter day immigrants show no interest at all in the outback. We've never seen any in our travels and sometimes I think I should befriend a few and take them out west to camp for a few days. I'm not sure if they could really get to love it without all the stories we've all listened to over the years about the outback however. The outback as we know it is sure to disappear and sooner than we think. Great TV show!

Just think what it was like only 10 yrs ago. Definitely different. Go back 50yrs and my home town is almost unrecognisable.

Add me to those who thought this was a good show. Far too few of them on tv. Really looking forward to the Winton edition. Fell in love with the place when visiting a couple of years back. Very sad the Matilda centre is gone. May it arise from the ash.
