Google tells me that the Douglas Daly Tourist Park used to be known as the Corn Patch Riverside Holiday Park many years ago.

I checked yesterday on google for Corn patch and it brought up Daly Tourist Park. You can even buy stubbie holders and other trash with Corn Patch on it - but no mention of a CP - free, low cost or full price.
Maybe have a look on wikicamps...........

The Corn Patch was the original name for what is now Douglas Daly Park. It was developed on a property called Kumbyechants by Janelle and Maurice Dawes. The were farmers brought in to develop farming in the Douglas Daly region in 1981. It is on the Douglas River just downstream of the Douglas Hot Springs. Also in the area is beautiful Butterfly Gorge. I haven't been there since I left Ceres Downs in the late 1980's but I believe most of the farms now grow trees instead of crops and Ceres Downs is now a turf farm.

In addition to my last comment perhaps some directions would help. Heading north the turnoff is to the left just north of Hayes Creek Inn onto Oolloo Road. Other sites to visit in the area are WW2 Fenton Airstrip, Douglas Daly Research Farm and Oolloo Crossing. Cheers C

In the Pine Creek area is the Pussycat Flats Racecourse, where you can camp - power, water etc, quite cheap when we were there last year, and the bar area opens at 4pm for drinks, and meals at 6pm - great spot.
