Three tablets at night, three in the morning,I rattle on an empty stomach. Tablets for blood pressure, tablets for prostate, tablets to help cholesterol, tablets to thin the blood, tablets to stop clots forming, tablets to even out the irregular heartbeat found within the past 12 months.(Never bothered me for 70 years!) You know how we talk to others when waiting at these medical clinics/Centres. I met/spoke with an 80 year old man mountain, gee an enormous guy, just under 6ft6". I looked up to him in more ways than one! Spoke about the tablets in the first two lines above. Get onto "CAPSICOOL" he said with a noticeable German accent. Yawohl? Buy from overseas, much cheaper.Google, you find. This I did. Capsicool: reduces blood clots;stimulates circulation;reduces heart attack/stroke risks;helps blood pressure and cholesterol;helps prostate;cleans arteries, softens them and makes them elastic again! Capsicum powder in warm water stops heart attack. Wow,I tried this - warm water with a pinch of cayenne pepper....hits the system alright, jerks you back to reality.
Just thought somebody might be interested, but as you say or as written on the container......"Speak to your health professional first eh!"

I knew an Italian guy many moons ago that always carried a small tin of strychnine with him. He used to put a small amount on his pocket knife and wash it down with a drink of water. He told me it cured everything.
Mind you, it was used as a performance enhancing drug for track and field athletes, as well as the bedroom kind, in the late 1800's early 1900's. Yes, Virginia, they were trying to get an advantage way back then.

Back in my previous life, one of my directors came to me and said "Hendo, I want to arrange and pay for my Wake, doctor has just told me I have months not years". He was on many tablets, heart, prostrate, etc. etc.. Went home and flushed all his tablets and never took another one. Within a month he was a new man! He passed away two and a half years later of old age!!

Check out what Yeoeleven is on - he takes apple cider vinegar (a really good one), and a powder that I can't remember the name of. He used to take cholesterol pills etc., and was having trouble sometimes with them not agreeing with him. Anyway got onto the cider vinegar, and the - I think it is called SSM - his latest medical checkup, his doctor told him to keep on doing what he is doing. Not bad at 79! You can read about it on his blog.

I always wonder how one dies of old age. What does it actually mean, and what does the doctor write on the death certificate?

My mum used do all the health stuff. Growing up in Ballarat there were as many Chinese Herbalists as proper doctors. Descendants of those who came for the Gold Rush. Cider Vinegar was one of the wonder drinks. It was actually a failed batch of apple cider as far as I could tell. She gave up on the herbal stuff when she finally out-lived all the Chinese Herbalists
A few years ago mum (then 89) fell over. An ambulance came & picked her up and asked me to follow & bring all her medication. In the ambulance, she was asked about her medications and she said she didn't have any. The Ambos thought she had maybe hit her head. At the hospital, she was being quizzed about her medication and she was saying she has a few Panadol Osteos. The doctors also though she was not well. The I walked in with a box of Panadol Osteo. They were all gobsmacked as most older people have a shopping bag full of meds.

I decided to look for Capsicool on the Internet. It appears to be a product of "Nature's Way".
Their web site (?) has the following information on the product:
"Heat Shield". Wow! Sounds impressive, but there is nothing about this magic process at naturesway.com.

Unless it's on a script or only available in a Pharmacy, it's probably not going to do much good. At least that is the conclusion that I've come to over the years. The description above basically says that there are no active ingredients. Lots of health shelf stuff is the same.

Dickens Cider, too has health benefits. Strengthens heart muscles, raises blood pressure and taken twice a day is equivalent to a 5km run!
What about the man who used to eat half a teasspoon of gunpowder each morning with his muesli. He died at age 94, and when they cremnated him, he blew a 12 foot hole in the wall of the crematorium.
Or the man who tried to do away with his wife. He gave her arsenic with a razor blade.
