Me too - there used to be one in Marysville, Victoria, in a museum - first time I went inside, I felt like I had come home!!!

They are beautiful. Do wonder how a horse would pull some of them with the heavy timber and I think in one looked like a cast iron stove.

Now if we had one of these in today's environment wouldn't we be in trouble. Image even on an outback road with the 2 horse power just happy plodding along. Would get more verbal abuse then we are currently getting from our modern vehicle drawn rigs. I get abused for doing 90 klms on the highways. There are some impatient people that walk or should I say drive amongst us.
By the way, every time we see a good John Wayne ( as most of the Duke's are)western cowboy and indian movie it becomes very clear that the wagon trains were the forerunners to our modern RV.
Anyway I will stick with the rig we have for now.
I think I want one of these.
