Hi all am looking to order a new van this time next year and SWMBO has fallen in love with the Tooradin.
I would really appreciate any comments or feedback on this rig.
Current tow vehicle is a 2012 HiLux SR5 which wont do the job and will swap to either a Pajero or a 200 series Cruiser.
Would prefer the Pajero as it is not quite as BIG.
We want to do the big lap to start incl the Kimberleys etc then some shorter escapades.
Cheers FB

G'day bear and welcome to the crew, we looked at the Tooradin when we bought our van. It looked great. We decided against it because it had minimal storage space. We live in our van 24/7 and needed the extra storage our van provided.
Be very careful with van vs vehicle selection. When we bought our van the ATM weight of the van was just above the capability of our Territory so we had to buy the Ranger. We loved our territory.
Good luck with your decision making. Cheers

Bought Jurgens Sungazer J1901 earlier this year. It ticked all our boxes; light, ensuite, fitted in our short driveway. It also has a lot of storage considering it's size but not enough to live in permantly. Originally towed it with a Falcon ute but upgraded to a Ranger. Been on 4 trips so far and I'm packing for a fifth starting Wednesday just for 4 nights.
We only use the twin bed configuration. SWMBO likes flannelette sheets and a heavy Doona. I don't so we actually get a better sleep in the van than at home. Only trouble is we are out of reach of each other for an elbow in the ribs to stop snoring.
A friend's brother who spends 6 months / year in NT has a Tooradin (at least that's what Ii think it is from the description). He loves it. it's easy to tow from Western Vic to Darwin or surrounds and big enough to live in comfortably for 6 months.

Fizzy, I would defiantly get the 200 series if price is not the issue a much better tow vehicle in my opinion and at 90mm longer 105mm wider and 45mm higher there is nothing in it really just a bit more comfortable.
