Found this on Ebay - was thinking it might be good for a tall van/camper like our Avan though in a low van it could be a problem. We currently use a 14" box fan which is not really noisy but sends air only where it is pointed whereas a ceiling fan should create a more widespread movement of air. . Has anyone bought one?
Hi Hako , it wouldn't be much good in the coaster as it would be throat height ,we have 2 roof vent fans , but as you said a high roof would be ok.

They would be good over double beds.

No good if you stretch a lot ,you wouldn't be able to turn it on and off.

We do. Have not used it a lot as it is almost too fast. Will have a look one day to see if I can slow it down. Not overly noisy but Eril and I are reasonably heavy sleepers.

They came as standard in our van and I quite like them through the day, the speed can be adjusted.
What I would like to know if there is a cover available to keep the early morning sun out
Cheers Ken

We mounted one of these fans inside vent . Its reversible so it can push hot air out . Or at night pull cool are in through screened vent . Its guiet, keeps midges away . Fed from powerciruit https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F332515323903

I knocked this up from an old 120mm Noctua computer fan, 0.09A. I might get a larger fan as this doesn't move the air that much, but it is just enough for the back of our car. Next one 200mm 146.9 m3/hour, 18.1 dB(A), 0.08A.
