Sounds like someone went out in the bush & took to a Jeep with an axe.

I heard that Volvo will soon be trialling 100 driverless cars on our roads. I can imagine a time in the future when all vehicles will be driverless and relying on GPS for navigation. Now imagine what would happen if a rogue state were to interfere with the satellite network.

When, not if, we have another world conflict the first casualty will of course be the complete loss of electronic communication in all forms.
Internet, phones, satellite communication, banking, GPS, health services, transport (air, land and sea) all emergency services the list go's on and on.
Will be interesting to see just how the world will cope, given that most infrastructure prior to the introduction of electronics has been discarded.
A few months old but couldn't find any mention of this here after a quick search - scary stuff!
