Hello all. Our twin Grandsons came home from hospital for the second time today.
Putting on weight and feeding well after their run in with Viral Meningitis.
A lot of bad things have been said about the Lady Cilento Hospital here in Brisbane.
However, their care of Archer , Xavier and their parents was second to none.
The boys will still have to be monitored for any long lasting effects.
Many Thanks to you all for your prayers and well wishes.
It really meant so much to us.
cheers

So happy they are home again Kath and Dave - give them lots of love and cuddles, and their parents as well, they need the reassurance, and support. My twin grandsons were in hospital for 30 days after birth, couple of complications, and premmy as well, daughter used to freeze her milk for them, and take it in every two days, we were up there for most of the time, so helped out, as she didn't drive at the time. They are both fit, healthy and gorgeous - now 16!!!

Wonderful news, very glad to hear they are ok and thriving. My premature twins were born six weeks too early at 4lb 1oz and 3lb 4ozs and also developed the same problem but they recovered really well and there were no after effects. Because they were fraternal (not identical) twin girls and one was smaller and fair and one was bigger and dark, people would ask me what was the difference in their ages and I would reply 'about ten minutes' and the penny would drop! ha ha
All the best, June C.

Great news Kath & Dave, I'm sure that the combined GN power helped them to pull through, along with the love and prayers from family, of course.
Cheers

How good it that! Great news. I know what it is like to have sick grandchildren and it is horrible, but with your news - fantastic Enjoy them as much as you can.
