Hello everyone, they all sound sooooo yummy.
for me i liked a screwball iceblock. It had a plastic cone case and i liked the lime ones best. At the bottom was a chocolate round lolly or a round chewy gum. I liked the chewy gum n when i got a chocolate one i felt ripped off.
loved chew chew bars too.

I used like the Regal milky pops. There was banana and one rolled in coconut. They didn't come in a bag. They were loose in the box. Then there was the frozen Jubbly which had an alternate connotation in un-frozen form. A favourite lolly was a musk. Recently rediscovered them in a cheap-as-chips store and today I found musk lifesavers in Woolies and sucking on one as I write this.

When I was 5 I wagged Sunday School and used the 6d for a choc wedge instead of putting it in the plate - but bugger, my older sister dobbed and I was in big trouble. Must ask her if she remembers. Thanks for the reminder Rocket n strop.

Milk bottles...the lolly kind, and the best part...they're still available today.
Favourite ice cream...Chocolate Snip. They were excellent value for money.

Mint leaves, with a real mint flavour, the ones nowadays are mild. Also "mates" chocolate coated toffee, musk sticks, how long could you make one last?
All the flavoured ice creams -the ones you buy in a cone by the scoop, were originated in Sorrento, Victoria, created by a man called Mr Slipalius (Mr Slip), he had plum pudding, licorice, hokey pokey, and hundreds of other flavours, one of the big ice cream companies bought his recipes, and there started the craze for flavoured ice cream!
