My grandfather lived on that stuff until we realised he was hooked on the morphia bit. It was a way of dealing with his nagging wife we reckon.

A mate of mine slipped when climbing up onto a dozer. He opened up his leg from the ankle to the knee. The wound had to be left open so it could be cleaned properly. He was on morphine for that week. He reckons it was the best week of his life.
