OK, I am a Western Australian pensioner, and don't know if this applies to the rest of the country, but I will recite my experience anyway, even if some might think it is insignificant. About 6 months ago my Doctor booked me in for a session with the Podiatrist who only visits Carnarvon every 2 months. Being a 75 year old bloke, I had no idea what to expect. I might also add that reaching my toes these days is quite a challenge. Well I turned up and lovely young Gemel said, take a seat and she pushed some buttons and I laid back and went up with no effort at all. She was a very chatty friendly young lady who made me feel very relaxed. She proceeded to cut and trim my toenails in such a way I never felt any thing unpleasant in my Tooties. Then an extremely sharp little knife thing went around every toe and gently trimmed. Then the Sandpaper thingy went over every toe and made my Tooties look Beautiful. Then out came the QV Cream which she massaged into my feet with her gloved hands. It was a wonderful 30 mins I had never experienced in my life. Being a pensioner it was 100% free, and I have just had my third session and it makes my day. Even that one curly twisted bent and ugly toe nail looks as good as Jennifer Hawkins toes.
I have only offered this waffle in case there are others out there that might like to check out their chances of being pampered like me every 2 months. Even if you are a pessimist, believe me it is well worth driving to the Local Hospital.
I wait with baited breath for some follow up from anybody that gives it a go, I promise you will not be disappointed.

OK, I should explain that I only posted that last post in a sincere hope, that I could help some people take advantage of that extremely enjoyable session. My suggestion is ask your Doctor next time, to book you in if it is free in your state, an test it.
I promise, NO PAIN and heaps of PLEASURE, and you don't have to strain your back to make your tow nails look reasonable.

Hi YS - having your feet "done" is a wonderful experience. Because we travel all the time, and wear thongs most of the time, my feet are often pretty ugly with ingrained dirt, that soaking alone won't remove. It is a very luxurious feeling to have someone treat your feet as if they were precious, which of course they are, they carry us around for many years!

I have mine done under a Pension care plan. Five visits per year of varying services. I chose to have Podiatry for the lot. Every 10 weeks I float out of her rooms

A small point to note young Simmo; the heading caught my attention "Life at the end of the tunnel" - I assure you that there is no "Life" at the end of the tunnel, but with a little luck there may be "Light".

OK Possum3, you got me on a technicality, next time I will say there is "sex at the end of life".
I mean I won't be coming, but I will be going.
You could also say we start off by trying to get out of a tunnel, then spend the rest of our life trying to get back in.
Ouch, I better stop there, I hope Cindy is busy somewhere else.
Now where was I?,,,,,,,,,, Oh yes, it's about getting my toe nails trimmed.
