Just been talking to the lady who cleans the amenities block here at Benarkin & we inspected the damaged coin boxes. The good news is that these boxes were especially designed by a security firm & although you can pull the outer casing off the money is actually in a box that is like a safe. So the evil low lifes didn't get any money for their trouble. But the boxes are powered & will need an electrician to check them & a new cover has to be put on. So there is some expense involved. CCTV seems to be in most places these days, this seems like a good place to put 1or 2 in.

"Yep" there is some Low-Life around, Pity the Shire can't hook up 240v to the cash box,
that just might teach the Mongrels not to touch things that they don't own.

Before retirement we had a vending business and it was cheaper to let lowlifes get easy access to the money tin rather than repair the extensive expensive damage to the machine door so the vending machine doors were locked just safely enough to keep the honest people out.
