doesn't really matter what the clock says these days
it upsets my body clock if I go along with it so this year I am claiming an exemption on medical grounds.
maybe I should start a new movement, call it GN Time.

NOT AGAIN, I have about 10 clocks or timers to change, had to do it from WA to SA. I was just about to have lunch one day when I crossed a time zone & instead of 12 O'clock all of a sudden it was 12.45, missed lunch didn't I. Same thing happened a few days later at bloody morning tea time. Poor clocks won't know where they are.

Damned stupid !!! We don't need it in this country. Northern Hemisphere thing that is fine there, [ I have lived there, so I know the reasoning,] but, as I said, STUPID for us.
Cheers,
Sheba.

Bloody he'll Dougie boy, fair crack of the whip mate.
We are at Heathrow airport awaiting our taxi back to heaven. We are ten hours behind heaven and you want us to wind our body clocks forward another hour mate.
We are losing a day of our lives to boot. It's Saturday night here 8.10 pm
When we arrive back it will allready be Monday.
Just hope our July retirement skips a few extra days as we'll. To make it come sooner.

Just looked at the time clock on my computer and it says 10.26 am. Got the shock on my life, and thought where or what happened to that hour.
Of course, being a Queenslander, I had forgot about this Daylight saving thingo.
Makes little difference to us, except for anything that is controlled by NSW & Vic.
I just thought, I will have to watch the timing of the football Grand final tonight.
I am going to forecast a Queensland win. How about you.

Absolutely hate it if people want to knock off an hour earlier than just do it why in tranation do we need to chance the clock it wouldn't take long to work out who is closing at four and who is closing at five as a lot do now anyway

in the real world - West Australia - we don't need to change times throughout the year and it also stops overseas businesses finding it more difficult to make the adjustment to make contact with the remainder of the country

yep agree with that
If someone needs an extra hour at the end of the day then they should get out of bed an hour earlier.

Gooday,
Let's call it what it is -: 'CLOCK FUDGING', let those that like it just get up an hour earlier and leave the Clock Alone.
Thank heavens we have not got it in Queensland Yet!!!!!. Hope it stays that way too.
Cheers,
Bliss on Wheels.

There has been a few peops say just get up one hour earlier.
Mmmm, it's actually nothing to do with the start of the day.
It was put in place by the powers to be to give an extra hour daylight during the summer months. I have always used it to enjoy family or friends time outside around the BBQ etc etc. Great for happy hours too.
I love it and always have. Especially when at Greens Lake, central VIC.
DAY LIGHT SAVINGS STARTS EARLY TOMORROW MORNING.
Clocks FORWARD one hour, all that need too.
Best time of year
apart from fading the curtains
Why should I?
