I think it could be very handy for anyone who wants to keep up with any situation that may effect ones safety.

A good idea ...... Just not for me as I hate paying ongoing subscriptions every year for stuff that is freely and easily available from other sources.
A FREE app that is worthwhile is Fire Ready as it also lists incidences other than fires attended by the fire brigade.
[Edit] For those traveling WA the DPaW Alerts free app could also be worthwhile.

emergencyaus is a free app and in real time - Ive had it for about a year now.
The various States run ones primarily for their rural/bush fire brigades, like VicFire, DFES Feeds, Fires Near Me NSW as examples and most of the State Main Roads also have free apps for various road conditions, emergencies and road works

I have been using this app for some time now and find the detailed information and the regular updates leaves most other emergency apps well behind and this one covers all types of emergencies.

Gott'a agree with you there aussietraveller, I am amazed how detailed this App is,
I was looking at an incident in QLD the other night, it just said that it was a ( other type of incident ) when I hit the expand button, it zoomed right into a street, where there was a car on fire, !! How good is that ??
What I like about this App, is that it covers every incident, and in real time as well, be it Fire, flood, or road incident, it's extremely detailed and will surely be of use to any traveller, in helping them avoid danger.
This APP may have been talked about before on this Forum, but just in case anyone missed it,
here is where you can down load it..............
