The managers of the West Wyalong showground have about 6 months ago opened new toilets primarily for the caravanners to use. everybody that has used the new well maintained facilities has had nothing but praise for them. Some people choose to camp away from the new area and use their own facilities or are happy to use the older facilities. It is disappointing to read reports condemning these facilities without even bothering to take a walk the less than 200 metres to the new area or ask a fellow camper or our friendly Car Taker Jim.

Hi Dishlicker, yes there are a lot of Showgrounds that you can camp at. it depends on the particular Shire but there is plenty of information on line or in magazines. More and more people are choosing showgrounds because of the open space and cheaper rent which means they aren't 3 star but most are clean. West Wyalong strives to be clean with new facilities and a good dump point and friendly Caretaker. All are pet friendly. (please spread the word)
