Unfortunately those bemoaning the fact that it is school holiday time appear to forget that at one period in their life they were school kids. OR did they become oldies overnight?

Spent many many moons along Great Ocean Road in a previous life, trouto. Have always loved that area.
When you say Timbon, do you mean 'Timboon' ? If so, no. What makes it one of the " best parts of the SW" please

Ok... folks... As a kid I enjoyed school holidays far more than I ever enjoyed school.
Best part of growing through my younger years.
We had to always plan our holidays around our kids holidays, so I really have no issues with the school holidays.
Oh!!@! yes... back then we had to pay a premium for our caravan park site, and it still exists today.
I thought that it was unfair then and still is.
I guess that we must let kids be kids, so we embrace their our free time.
Now at our stage in life we prefer to Bush camp.Having the grand kids with us is now a bonus.

Mmmm, Distillery, chocolate shop, cheese joints, old trestle bridge AND a good pub. Yep sounds good to me mate. I will take a drive out one day next week for sure.
I reckon a cheese joint first to put a lining on the tummy then Distillery after taking some pics of the bridge then wash it all down with a nice meal at the pub. Yep, good place.
Ya!!!! school holidays again.
