I know I have been banging on about how important it is to use this forum in a respectful and informative manner.
Just now, I was reminded of how important and vital this forum and others are to our lives out here in the great Australian playground. Virtual places like Facebook and the GN forum etc serve as meeting places for those we cant meet, and information of those we have come into contact with face to face.
I love hearing of the success of my ex students, their graduations, birthdays, engagements and marriages etc.
On the flip side I also respect and get sad when I see the notices of folks, I have never met passing on. For instance today I was saddened to hear of JRH passing.
To round up, we can use these forum to criticize, bully and generally harass anyone in total anonymity. OR we can use it as an extension of our human care, love and concern for our fellow travelers, some whom we may never meet.
For mine, I prefer the latter.
Take care and love each other, we never know what tomorrow will bring.
Life is way to short to be an ******hole.
Cheers

Good on you Phil
happy to call you a mate even though we are yet to meet face to face.
Agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments
a little saying if I may
forget tomorrow for it is gone
live for today for tomorrow may never come.
and we never really know when our last day in this life will be.
stay safe, take care of each other and the world can be a better place.

Thanks guys,
I get a little sad when I see grumpy old people (men as well as women) pushing some agenda. I guess its OK to be passionate about something as I am about travel and being a GN, but what have we walked past as we focus on our fixed and never to be resolved beliefs and lifestyles.
BTW love those words Felicia, Frank and Steve.. thanks
To a certain extent, we are guilty of the above. I am first to admit Im very OCD over some things, like getting out of bed and having coffee, making sure the caravan is in good nick EACH DAY!!!! etc
I am a passionate person who believes life is way too short to be tangled up in an office chasing the holy dollar. I love Australia and the outdoors. There is no way we will be rich or famous, I love my friends and enjoy a good laugh with them over a meal and glass of red.
Thats why I love this adventure with passion. Go forth and kick butt FOR YOURSELF!!!!
Cheers

In total aggreance also, maybe this should appear on our screen every time we go to make a new post just to remind us to be considerate to our fellow GNs in our new post
