Just thinking is there a Freecamp spot close to walk into the city of mildura they seem to be a fair way out assistance needed

I think physic bend is about the closet free camp but it is to far out to walk may be 6 or 7ks
merbein common is fairly close to the shops at merbein if you have to have them handy

That is one thing you need to think about when free camping - we always make sure we have got everything we need before we head to a free camp, so we don't have to go out too soon. It is a matter of being organised I think.

Sorry guys we are set up for free camps just the wife likes to look around window shop that sort of thing while ill be in bunnings or the pub cheers

There are plenty of free camps along the Murray on both sides of the river near Mildura. Unfortunately at that time of the year it would be ''HELL ON EARTH'' due to huge crowds, trail bikes, speed boats & jet skis endlessly going noisily up & down all day every day. A place to be avoided at Christmas, Easter & any warm weather school holidays.

Thanks Keith thats one way of putting it could become a dit shi-- ill look around and talk to the chief and work it a way round it cheers may be the dishlickers will be on and running
