Two years ago today, I picked up Miss Daisy. What wonderful adventures we have had since then. I cannot believe how far I have come, some of the adventures I have had, the sights that I have seen, and the wonderful people I have met.
There is still a few kilometres left in us yet and anxious to get on the road again.
She is a great girl, and I love her so much and as she is my home these days I feel comfortable and relaxed when I am in her. She has had a baby since then, a little car called Seedling and she provides me with just as much joy and adventure.
I really am so lucky and grateful for the wonderful life I am now leading.
Well done Sharon. You have achieved a marvellous thing with all the great travelling you have done in that 2 years. You are a true 'Nomad'. Note I didn't say Grey Keep on keeping on.
Like you and Marj I too have had the dreaded HBP. The tiredness might be due to the meds but might be worth speaking to the GP to see if it's worth seeing a Cardiologist. You just never know.
Hope all goes well.

Thanks Doug. Doing the 24 hr thing at present. Doc wants me to stay another week to get the meds sorted. A reaction to one of them I think. Heart all good. ECG etc all clear, basically I am really healthy, just the BP, so I really cannot complain.
Yup 2 years, cannot believe it at times, and really have not even scratched the surface.

I hope you gave her an oil change and service for her birthday, or maybe a polish?

Hello Sharon, I thought I saw you yesterday at a lovely free camp at Gundagai. Love the Wirraway. We ordered our van 2 years ago on the same day you picked up Miss Daisy. I think Dougwe's van is approaching a birthday soon too.
We are sadly on our way home to Sydney after a 3 week trip through Vic, SA's Barossa then Broken Hill and back down to Gundagai. Next trip not coming soon enough.
Cheers Margaret

Hi Ken,
yeah that was over 2 years ago now. I had no idea what I was doing or how to level that hire MH up. Thanks to you I had my first lesson in buying stuff for my future travels. As I often think now and say to myself...."If they could see me now"....
I have even invested in a second pair of level thingies, and bought so much more stuff that seems to be all necessary at different times.
