Back in the 70s my Dad and I used to fight over the Scientific American in the letterbox -that was popular science back in the day and it was rigourous and definitive. SciAm today is just drivel. . Now almost all non specialist publications are so utterly wrong it isnt worth picking up the paper.

Howdy KJ, it doesn't seem so, but look at it this way, the story has been doing the email rounds for a lot of people, so really this thread is a service to those who don't know it has been said to be a hoax, so both the thread and the hoax report has been of interest to those who received the emails and the hoax report, so not a wasted thread at all IMHO, and as I said before "incredible".
