Has Anyone had any experiences good or bad of a Diesel/LPG dual flue motor?
Is there running and maintenance savings to be had?

yes, its good. It gives a more complete burn of the diesel, means less carbon particals in the oil. About half a gear power gain

Hi sirbasil,I had a Patrol fitted with diesel/gas(4cyl) and it had really good extra power. The engine oil stayed a lot cleaner as well. The patrol had done 290000 ks when I upgraded with not a problem.I don't know whether I would do the same with a later model vehicle.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Baz

I would do conversion but the cost was a disincentive as was the space/weight for gas storage, just our decision. May review if we change the back of the truck to soft top traytop and going around 70% of coastline.

Have heard there is little benefit with modern diesel engines, suggest you ask a diesel expert like Berrima Diesel in Berrima.
