From the Cadbury's website:
4. How much does halal-certification cost and is it affecting your profit?
Were very proud to make chocolate to suit a diverse range of chocolate lovers and halal certification helps us do that. The very minor cost of certification is more than covered by the additional revenue generated through exports and sales to Muslim customers.
In the scheme of things, I doubt it makes that much difference...

how do they manufacture or pack, or sell chocolate the Halal way as opposed to the non-halal way???
Are some of the cocoa beans slaughtered in a certain way????
Or do they break open a % of wrapped chocolate while facing east in the factory?

Halal food has been prepared according to Islamic law, and is free from pork products, alcohol and certain other ingredients

No, if you read the link it explains it pretty clearly. All it means is that it is "Permitted" to be consumed by someone of the Islamic faith. And there opens up a bigger market area for the manufacturer.
These might be ok for travelling long distances by RV etc, I wonder if they will be Halal Certified
