Bloody hell ... just got back from that area on the weekend. Puts the clutch failure the Hino suffered just 6.5 kms from home into perspective, I guess

Spoke to my son in Dubbo. They live not far from the Dubbo City Holiday Park and they got nothing

The twister hit 3 homes pretty hard and a couple of sheds with no serious injuries except hip pocket ones. Many trees were torn out and shared among neighbours.
However most of us fared well and did not have a problem.
Our daily rag reports that the damage was about 200 or so meters wide and travelled a fair distance. All on the eastern edg of town.
It will be a big cleanup for those affected with the SES assisting. Power was out for many overnight and has all now been restored by repots tendered.
