Hi All, New to your great Forum. We are John & Lin. Hubbie is grey but I am not...well not quite yet. About to pick up our first Camper Trailer, Jayco Swan. Excited. 3 week trip in October. Perth - Coral Bay - Karijini - Perth. Have booked sites at C/Bay and Karijini, but not sure where to stay over night on way home. Cue looks a good spot for a night or 2. Any thoughts, recommendations? Greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the gang Jon and Lin, enjoy here and out in the playground.
Take care over in the 'wild west'. I will try and keep my braves under control.

Gotta watch the Chief's braves, specially when full of red fire water.
Welcome, have just done that trip coming up the road rather than down it. On my way down towards Perth at present.
Cue is a good spot to stop at, probably only one night though. There is a camp about 19k from Cue by a lake. Good spot there also. Stayed there for a night, there are plenty of free camps on the road after Newman. One of my favourite spots was at Karalundi. It is a boarding school for aboriginal children run by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. They have a small CP there, beautiful green lawns, clean amenities, and free washing machine. The staff there are beautiful people and it is quiet. Would certainly recommend that spot. Mount Magnet CP is great also. There is plenty to look at on the way, keep your CB on so you can talk to the road trains, but we had no problem with them at all.
Enjoy your trip. Did not get to do Karajini this time, however everyone and I mean everyone raves about it. That is next years trip at this stage.

Decided to travel a bit earlier than originally planned. Perth to Karijiini and then on to Exmouth area...then back down coast. Looking at 14 hours between here and Karijiini NP, so thought we should stop a couple of times, just for a night here and there. Mt Magnet looks good, and is about 6 hrs drive. The would probably stop again between there are Newman if possible. Does anyone know if there are plenty of one night stops on the way? If we travel on to Newman, its then only 2 hrs to NP, which seems a bit silly. Any help greatly appreciated. Oh by the way Shekon, I can't find Karalundi on map...where is it close to? Cheers.

To me that is ideal, you get to camp still rested, plenty time to set up & do some exploring.
