Hi all,
I am hoping for some advice on the Galaxy Odyssey caravans. I am currently upgrading from my Trackabout offroad camper to a caravan but am on a budget. I am looking at spending up to around $30k on a caravan/pop-top caravan. I have been looking at the following:
Galaxy Odyssey 2009 pop top single axle 2 berth approx $27k
Galaxy Odyssey 2010 caravan single axle 2 berth approx $28k
Galaxy Odyssey 2014 (new) single axle caravan approx $32k
All those prices are asking prices. all have solar and batteries except the new 2014 model. Although it's lights etc are set up for 12 volt etc.
I have also got the option of a 2008 Windsor RA432 for about $24k but i am concerned i'm getting a bit older.
There is only 2 of us (at the moment, with the possibility that will change) and i want to spend my money wisely and get the most out of it.
Any advice you all might have would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Toddy

Welcome to the gang Toddy, enjoy here and out in the playground.
After having a single axle and now have a duel axle I would say go with a duel if you can. Handles better and appears so far to reverse easier than single. You have the advantage of a couple of extra tyres if you get a flat or something too.
Keep Safe out there.

Dear Dougwe might I ask was the single axel van shorter than the duel axel van because the longer the trailer the easier it is to back up .sory bout that just when you thought your reversing skills were improving too.
