It would be interesting to hear Peter Slipper's views on all this.

Yes but not quite. In her case it makes her extremely hypocritical. In her early days she was the policeman looking out for the voters making sure pollies had to justify their expensesand did not rort the system. May in her old age she decided to jump on the gravy train. Do as i say not as I do????
It's a bit much when we are asked to tighten the belt and these morons cannot reign i their expenses.

The perks.........the manipulation of them, the "grey" area..........( i love that "grey" one )........the shear greed, the belief that they ( pollies ) have in themselves, that they can unashamedly splurge tax payers money on themselves.
I love the way "some" within, guardedly speak of "reform"........but you know, they near choke as those words come out.
Truss......and some others, i cringe when ever i see them on telly. ( he in particular )
Beware........whatever is "reformed" in this rort.........they will get back in some other way ( it will be buried in the fine print ) The goings on is THEFT.......last time i checked, thieving was illegal, and you and me would be talking with a magistrate.
The whole canberra scene, smells more fishy than the melbourne fish markets.

haven't seen anyone sticking up for our voted pollies yet LOL........I vote for the sex party. Initially it was in protest, but then I have listened to their female leader on a 30 minute serious interview and read their policies - has nothing to do with sex (Im too old for old that stuff anyway) - and the name was a protest at our piggies in the trough following the party rules and policies, rather than us, the voters.
