My Question is this:-
Is there anyone on the Grey Nomad forum who is a resident at the RV Homebase Village in Maryborough Qld.
This is a unique style of retirement accommodation where they provide a specially built garage to allow one to park an RV or Caravan undercover.
This is a first I believe for Queensland if not Australia. Maryborough is a region town approx 300 klms north of Brisbane on the Bruce Highway approx 30 min west of Hervey Bay.
It looks like a great concept.
Here is a link if you wish to follow up.

RV Homebase 50 Iindah Road East Tinana, Maryborough, Queensland 4650 Australia (130) 039-1711
We have no association what so ever with this company.
Just would like some feed back if any Grey Nomad or RV resides at this complex.

. We had a look at them ,just be mindfull that you don't own the land only the home ,its just like renting ,they can put the weekly rent up when they want to .not all the homes have provision for a garage to house your van. you pay extra for that.If the company that owns the place goes down you will be forced to relocate taking your home with you .That is why they are relocatable.

Just one of the many reasons we bought a home in a Lifestyle Village in NSW. The villages are regulated by the state government, the land use can only be for a lifestyle village, rent increases are regulated as well. I believe that Qld is trying to regulate their lifestyle villages like NSW. So for us NSW has the boxes ticked at least for us.

JayDee The Palm Lakes Resort at Hervey Bay also has caravan size garages. We have looked at both and thought Hervey Bay was a better position than Tinana
