Have a look at Coomalie Creek - on the eastern side of the Stuart Highway about 5 Km south of the Batchelor turnoff - power, basic amenities and some pretty ordinary water but its only $20 a night. Berry Creek is closer to Darwin but at $27 a night is one of the lower cost CPs and I don't know if they take big rigs. We've just spent 4 weeks up there and trying to find a campsite with vacancies is pretty difficult. Wikicamps provides the best guidance and info about sites and up to date comments and prices.
