The weather gods are really playing silly buggers lately. Saw that on the news this morning. Something you don't expect in QLD and I tell you that for free.

And to think , in th last weather system Qldr's were doing road trips to Glen & Tenterfield
last week to see snow. Noe we won't hear the end of it. They have some of their own.

Had a similar problem on the Hume Highway yesterday morning (Friday) (Friday)
After 74 years on this planet, I've seen snow only once .... on a trip to the Alps with the kids.
It's on the bucket list.

Lovely snow, everyone should see snow in their lifetime especially when it is falling, thanks for the pics.
I miss my Blue Mtns home, the snow and my Scottish Terrier playing with my daughter. When Jock saw the morning snow he would go crazy until they were allowed outside and they would spend thee whole day playing. The would run/walk up the steep slope in the front garden and slide down 20 metres to the edge of the first terrace. Standing with my back to the fire looking out the windows I would see them zooming past on their bottoms, a big smile on Melanie and Jock with a beard full of snow. Thanks for the reminder.
My kitchen in Sydney at the moment is so cold the olive oil has solidified.
Enjoy.

Confused, so many people on the forum telling me to head north, where in the north, we've not had any snow in the Riverina.
Have spent 2 weeks in Stanthorpe with my son & this is what we woke up this this morning
Would love to be down there!
