Does anyone have one of the above and how do you use it if no 240v is available? (Free Camping).
I have done a little thinking on the matter and pretty sure I know how to go about it but just before I purchase I thought I'd ask the question.
It has a 700w motor.

Doug there a couple of ways to do this
1. Connect it directly to a 1000w inverter but make sure you have enough battery capacity
2. Run the genny to power the van and use it like you would if connected to mains power.
3. get yourself a magic wand and wave it around and see if you have the magic in you
hehe

Hi Doug
You will never become as good as Bruce Lee
All joking aside
I would run it of a Sin wave inverter it only runs for a short time
Cheers John

A quick search on the net reveals there are quite a number of camper friendly devices available.
With this machine you can keep fit, take your nutrients on the go, and anyone who walks past your van while you're making your brew will p--s them selves laughing!
I am on a special diet and researched this really well and ended up buying the Vitalmax for $300. The Vitalmax is a masticating juicer as opposed to a centrifugal one. Masticating juicers don't cook your juice but you are left with a very small amount of pulp but the juice can be stored in a Thermos in my fridge for up to 48 hours where the other needs to be drunk straight away.
The best way to understand the difference between masticating and centrifugal is with apple juice. Masticating means the apple juice will come out cloudy where the centrifugal will come out brown, in other words it is cooked from the speed of the rotating blades. I would not eat a brown apple, and I don't always want to put ice in my drinks.
All my inverter questions when I joined GN was about how to use my juicer when not using 240v. I have an electrician installing a safe inverter set up for me in a few weeks so I can't answer that yet.
Tip: I store my vegetables in the red Decor containers with the plastic rack, they last 3 times longer than when just stored in the fridge.
Cheers,
Nomes.

Thanks all. The Inverta is what I had been thinking of.
Now Nomes, I will take a look at what you suggest before the big spend takes place however, sorry but I have to say this.....I am so glad you don't have a speech impediment
KFC told me to say that

Thanks all for the input. I decided to go with the Ninja and a 1500w PSW Inverter.

What did I do?
I was even ON TOPIC
I have absolutely no interest in Peter Pipers pickles or his peppers OR what he does with them
Doug make sure you install that Inverter proper like.

Will do Frank. I already have a cable wired directly to battery with a Anderson Plug on the other end (1 mtr of cable) with a 25amp fuse in line close to battery. Not sure if that will be ok for the 700w Ninja so will investigate further. I really can't see myself using anything else with the 1500w Inverter. The other items I have been using with my 300w Inverter are all I need.

Now we are all off topic. NAUGHTY CORNER!!
Hold the mail, I'm on my way as well. Dougwe, use a decent pure sine wave inverter.
Cheers

Before you rush out and buy one, take a look at The Checkout on Iview. iview.abc.net.au/programs/checkout/LE1402H013S00

www.oscarjuicers.com.au/oscar-da-900/ I use every attachment, grind nuts and seeds and juice etc.
Best of all it takes very little time to clean.
I hope this was helpful.
