Hi Woodys 124,
That is quite do-able but probably not going to be cost effective. If you get a normal workshop to do that job, the chasing of parts and the little things required will make it a very expensive job charged at commercial rates.
Probably better to look at another vehicle that is exactly what you want.

PS I assumed you wished to put an auto transmission into a manual vehicle.
If you just want another transmission to replace a faulty one then go to a wrecker or a transmission shop.

Don't forget the auto box is controlled by a computer which further will add to your cost.
