Fantastic BG. Thanks for the trip down memory lane mate. Take me back there. I noticed a quick glimpse of a funny man, Flip Wilson. Others of course but he stood out.

BBC Radio 2 has recently begun a 10-episode series of songs from the 50s http://www.bbc.co.uk/search?q=Sounds%20of%20the%2050s%20with%20Leo%20Green - I was too young to remember most of them at that time but there have been a few great songs played in the two episodes aired so far. First episode was on June 8 and is still available for listening for another 20 days or so. The website has all 10 episodes listed but each one is only available once it has gone to air at 10pm Monday (7am AEST Tuesday).
