We are thinking of going to the Gympie Muster, taking our van. Have heard various reports about access, slopes etc of staying - some wonderful, some terrible.
We are asking for feedback from people who have actually been there.
Anyone been Camping on site before? Would love to hear your comments and experiences.
Thanks.

went to the muster in 2014.try and be there by wednesday.you have to drive around and find the best site that suits you.plenty of portable toilets scattered around site.it is a very large area.huge.some areas are quite slopey.it can be a long walk to venue from some areas.can have a fire if you bring own wood.they do sell firewood off truck that drives around.must have fire ring.walking at night to venue is ok.see the bush poets breakfast.dump points around site.no taps at sites.a great experience.if you are travelling one out it is easier to find a site

Hi Vicar,
Don't hold your breath. A few years ago there was a query about an area near where I live. Gave information which was contrary to what was on google. All that came back was people looking up the website and counteracted everything I knew from local knowledge. Best part no one goes there apart from locals so we still have to ourselves.
I live in Gin Gin Qld. Don't know where you are but if you want to know PM me. Can camp right on beach and free. Will need a 4wd to access more than 100 mtrs but sis and b-i l go right up the track with jeep cherokee and 18ft Jayco.
