Its bucketing down in cairns. I thought this was the dry season. We have been here 3 weeks and it has rained 2 of them.It is expensive as i've gone thru 4 casks instead of 2

I assume at least it is still warm up there, unlike the 13 and 14 degrees we are getting down south. BRRRRRRR! With that kind of rain I would upgrade my cask to bottles lol.

Born and bred Cairns and when growing up as kids some years it would rain nearly right through the year when others hardly any rain and dry most of the year. So dry that the clay ground at old West Cairns (Westcourt) would have 2 inch cracks in it and dead grass. When wet we would have a foot of water from Moody's Ck under the high posted house and constantly mowing lawns every week. Not much has changed.
Cheers Kev.
