Hi all, anyone stayed at workmans beach up at Agnes waters, we thought we would head up there on Saturday from here at woodgate, then we are going onto Cape Palmerston on word of mouth that one.
cheers OMD

Agnes Waters & 1770 get good reviews as nice "hurry up & wait" places. Would be interested in your review.
Haven't been to Workmans beach but we live in Mackay, just north of Cape Palmerston, and we have been to Cape Palmerston c/van park 3 times and really like it. Great amenities, short walk to beach and short drive to great fishing creek. Cape Palmerston itself is 4x4 vehicle only (you have to drive along the beach) so no c/vans. Just down the road is Notch Point a free camp but would only take off road small van in there as well and we have had plenty of rain so wouldn't even take that in there. So would definitely stick to c/van park. All drive through sites and they are all tiered. People very nice. Top spot.
