G'day, Going on another prospecting recce' for month or so.. or year or so.....leaving in the morning with Julie and little Pepe Pooch......
If you see the following rig on the Highways, I'm on Channel 40...say Gidday........or please feel welcome to introduce yourself if we're roadside camping...on a bit of a tight schedule to arrive as we are meeting up with some other prospectors at Laverton Caravan Park and setting off from there in the direction of the Gibson Desert?!?.......open ended on return...
Pepe doesn't know it yet but he's going to remain in Kalgoorlie at Sevenoaks Kennels for R & R..he tends to throw his weight around but at 5Kg wringing wet there's not a lot to throw around..the leases we go on don't allow dogs and we've never told him yet he's not actually a person.....so he will not be impressed.....
Have our Miners Rights and the approvals for the areas we are going...water will be our biggest problem...may not wash for a month like last time.....may find a nugget or two as a bonus....doesn't really matter its all about the journey rather than the destination...

I wish I could be doing the same as you, not much hope at the moment with the van in bits for repairs,
A bit of advice, be careful of your belongs when you get to Laverton, the place is being overrun by undesirables coming in from the outback,
they are camping everywhere, the locals are calling for extra Police in the form of a Task Force to handle the trouble there.

Know you will do well. Have lots of nuggets on me. Wish you both a safe journey. Love to hear about your trip on return. We both wish we were doing same trip.one year to go.Don't forget to back fill those holes, or someone will follow in your tracks.

Just come flying with me in the D4 Caribue we on U TUBE.
Can stop in 600mtrs. load and go 700mtrs were up and away. As long as Larry back fills those gofer holes of course. LOL
