Having recently installed a diesel heater, I was wondering if there is such a unit as a DIESEL COOLER for use in the summertime.
We have a dometic A/C. but the noise factor is a real deterrent. We can run it via our genny when camping.
What other sort of "cool air" devices are available for caravans??. etc.
I will be visiting the Brisbane Caravan and Motor home show next week to look for ideas.

Being a lad from the bush - El-cheapo pergola or tarpaulins erected over the van to create shade with an air-space will assist. You can also hang a dampened/wet towel over your flyscreen door (on outside) this will give a "Coolgardie Fridge" effect.

My 'newer' van has an Eberspacher diesel heater operated by push buttons inside. There is just a fan function as one of the 4 buttons which will give me cool air, or at least air movement on a very hot day.

Hi JayDee, We found the Transcool 12v evaporative cooler very efficient. For its' size, it does a great job and the pups love it on very hot days.
Cheers, Robyn
