What a magical place. Certainly not a place that should be bypassed. Spent three days here with Frangipani and these are a few of my favourite shots. There were so many, so just a few. If you do happen by there, make sure you take the time to do the 2plus hour walk to the top of the ridge. Dining room a lot of fun and great food, worth paying for a three course dinner for at least one night of your stay.
Stayed at Fraser Range last year only overnight on the way across to WA and on the way back. Be sure to book or get in there early as they fill up very quick. They light a happy hour fire every night and there is also a restaurant. Wish we'd had more time.

It's almost a last stop before Norseman. I'll never forget it. Walking my dogs on leash, emu's came out of the bush and went for my dogs. Scary time. I didn't stop there on the way back from WA!! Some people took photos and luckily others intervened and dogs and I were ok.
Was a nice camp though.

Hi Weevil,
Thanks for the link. The info is so very interesting. I have marked it as a must visit area for when I'm over that way.
Regards, Panther.

Driven past the turn off many times. Maybe I'll take the opportunity to rest up on my way home from a WA job.

Hi CG, Marian told me to keep an eye out for you. She thought we may have come across you as we crossed the Nullabor. Stay safe, and it really is a great place to stay for a night or two.

I've yet to visit there myself Panther I'm ashamed to say, but it is on my bucket list.
Thanks for the heads up on the station Shekon and all!
