This news story talks is about the way warfare has changed - drones by the million and all made with 3D printers both in the air and underwater.
On civvy street we already have drones making drug drops to correctional institutions. Just a few months ago when camping we found a drone worth about $500 on the banks of the Ward river west of Charleville washed down from somewhere.
I suppose for grey nomads you could get your prescriptions dropped out to your free camp by your local drone friendly chemist?
Just think when George Orwell wrote 1984 it was pure science fiction and how much of that has come true.....
Yep just about 30 years out.

Warfare and terrorists have created a fantastic opportunity in Australia for those who want total control over the people to go a long way towards ensuring that George Orwell's story becomes our reality.
If you use a loyalty card like the Woolworths one they now know not only what you eat but where you go on a weekly basis and what you prefer to drink along with your personal hygiene practices.
Then there are the many thousands of cameras on our roads and in stores on trains and buses even mounted on car dashboards with the latest being metadata, makes life in remote country a serious option.

Even some of those comics, Flash Gordon etc, etc showing spaceships etc. And of course Dick Tracy and his two way watch, LOL!
