Happened to me out near William Creek (SA) about a year ago. With the van on back of new Patrol I tried to turn around off the road on what appeared to be a made turning point unfortunately, no Lionel.
It gave me a chance to really test the electric locking diffs and traction controls - both of which I never had on previous Patrol.
Very embarrasing for an accedited off-road driver trainer.

How,
These things happen I spose "Lionel" At least you got out, due to your off road expertise more than likely.
Good to see you also got out and lived to tell the story Sharon. I see Fran decided to hitch hike outa there, deserting ya and leaving ya to the dingo's

Halfpint, it wasn't really scary, probably because that man was there to guide me. Just annoyed at the CP manager telling us to go there. Yup know all about Greens.
Dougwe, Fran was a wonderful help, and tried to run away but I caught up to her. I think I would be right with the Dingos, they would take a bite and decide that the meat was too old and tough.
