Just a general query re Diesel .
Summer and Winter diesel. Do the fuel companies have different diesel for the colder months in Australia?
I know in Europe as soon as it looks like the cold weather is coming, the fuel has "winter" additives to stop the waxing up of diesel.
Is it the same in Australia. I am sure someone would know on the forum.
Thanks
WE saw a sign somewhere the other day - between Glen Innes and Warialda somewhere advertising that Winter Diesel was in stock.
Winter Diesel is usually available in the approaches and in the high country around the snow fields and Tasmainia There used to be a modified winter diesel available in southern NSW and eastern Victoria. Its called winter diesel by some others its Low Sulphur Diesel.
Thanks to all those who clarified the winter diesel issue for me.
