saw the advert - thought it was stupid and superficial - but then most adverts are.....just wonder how many genuine nomaders were amongst those who complained.....

On Ch 7 this morning they spoke about the 10 most complained about TV adverts for the last year and this one featured No. 1, but the complaints related to the word "bloody" being used by the adult and child - not about caravans or grey nomads.
So its not nomads being super sensitive, just those that don't like the naughty word bloody issuing forth on TV !
Don't know about "oh what a feeling..."
More like "oh get a life....."

I happen to like the Jeep adds, a bloody break from "wash your face", "beer in belly", and "not my car" Northern Territory satellite adds.

I was one who complained. Not so much about the language but more the inference that a young child can criticise a driver towing a caravan. Not good parenting.
I also complained to Carlton Breweries for their sexist, demeaning and chauvinistic add featuring a bunch of blokes getting together and putting their wives/girfriends aside.

Ever been to an old country dance? It's the norm for men to congregate on one side near the beer keg and ladies sit on the far side looking debonair.

I like the Jeep adds too Ontos45. Nothing wrong with them at all. Very well done really. Up there with the Supercheap Auto adds. I think I'll go to the shops now.

Here is an add about Solar Power that will cheer you up
The (Bloody Caravaners) Colorado advertisement is the most complained about ad in 2015.
Seriously, some people need to lighten up.
