We start our northern sojourn in 3 weeks time. Our first significant stop will be close to Hahndorf S.A. by order of SWMBO. Two overnight stops prior at Whycheproof & Murrayville. We have been to these two before and had no problems but, this time we are looking at staying just outside Hahndorf at Wellington. Has anyone had any experience of staying at Wellington S.A. cpk
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

There is a bakery in Hahndorf that makes the best apricot tarts

Stayed at Wellington CP about 5 years ago not impressed, only drinking water was tank water, and had weave between cabins to get to site, maybe things have improved since then

You might want to look at a map and the scale on the map as Wellington is not just outside Hahndorf, We have been to wellington a few times as we come from Adelaide hills. Caravan park in wellington ok but nothing to right home about.

Thanks people for comments,
ajtmb I took your advice and had a closer look You are right of course its much further out than I thought. Maybe Strathalbyn would be a better choice. A bit exy but a lot closer so probably overall the same cost.
Thanks for the advice
